Tang Pieces Sculpture Gallery
These sculptures are the newest
direction of the artist. They are based on the Tang Dynasty ceramic
sculptures and play with a similar imagery and glazes. Jack thinks of these
as poetic statements about balance of opposites. War and Peace, Male
and Female, movement stasis, mind and body, Earth and Soul. New pieces are
continually being made, ten a year, each piece unique. Sizes vary,
but, kneeling horses are measured at 18" x 16" x 6". The standing sculptures
would vary depending on the Legs.
